How to Get Two Followers in New Vegas

Fallout 3: New Vegas features both human and robotic companions that can follow you, help you carry items and assist you in combat situations. While you can only have one human companion and one robotic companion, you can have one of each at the same time, which lets you have two followers at any given time to assist you in your journeys. Knowing the locations of some of these followers can help you quickly locate ones that are closest to you.

Instructions

- 1
  Locate a human companion by traveling east of your starting location to the town of Novac. Speak with Boone after 8PM in the top of the "Dinky the Dino" gift shop, who will offer to come along with you as a companion if you complete a short quest for him.

  Locate a human companion by traveling north of your starting location along the 188 highway until you reach the 188 Trading Post. Speak with Veronica, a lady dressed in a cloak, and she will offer to travel with you (no quest completion is required).

  Locate a robot companion by traveling south of your starting location to the town of Primm, and enter the post office next to the main casino. Examine the robot laying on the table, and select the "Repair" option to gain it as a companion.

  Locate a robot companion by traveling north of your starting location to New Vegas, into Freeside. Go into the King's School of Dance and speak with The King, who - if your speech levels are high enough - will allow you to take his robotic dog as a companion.
