In addition to a story-based single player campaign, "Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty" offers a multiplayer mode, allowing you to play with your friends against computer-controlled enemies or other players. If, during a multiplayer battle, one of your allies is struggling to gather enough minerals to support his economy, you can send him some of your minerals to assist him; the option to do so activates after a certain amount of time -- usually two to five minutes -- has passed.
