How to Kill Zombies in Minecraft

Zombies are enemies in "Minecraft" that venture out at night. They can also be found in dark places, such as caves. Zombies can be defeated by using sunlight to your advantage, or you can attack them with weapons. Once a zombie is defeated, you can prevent others from spawning by placing torches around the area. Since every map in "Minecraft" is randomly generated, there are no definitive hunting grounds for zombies, but their groaning signals that they are near.

Instructions

Create the workbench to forge a bow and arrows before you hunt zombies. When a zombie appears on the screen, press the right mouse button to fire arrows at it. The number of arrows it takes to kill a zombie varies by the difficulty level you are playing.

    • 2

Use the workbench to forge a sword. When a zombie is in front of you, draw your sword and left click your mouse to attack. The number of swings it will take varies by the material used to craft the sword and the difficulty level of the game. Continue attacking the zombie until it falls.

Locate a zombie at night or in a cave. If it's in a cave, make sure the zombie sees you so it follows you outside. Then, hide in a structure or keep running around until it is daytime. The sun will light the zombie on fire. When its burned body falls to the ground, it has been defeated.
