MapleStory is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that you can download for free. By default, the game takes up your entire screen when you launch it, limiting you from seeing other programs in the background. MapleStory does include a key configuration that allows you to view the game in windowed mode, which displays at a smaller resolution than the default and allows you to switch to other open programs.

Launch MapleStory on your computer and log in to your account.

Press the "Alt" and "Enter" keys simultaneously to switch from full-screen to windowed mode, which will allow you to see other programs in the background.
