How to Build a Crude Chair in RuneScape

In the game "RuneScape," you can build a variety of furniture items -- including bookcases, tables and chairs -- for your character's house. The first type of armchair you can build is a crude wooden chair. To build any furniture item, you must already own a house and have the proper materials to craft the item. To build a crude chair, you need two planks and two nails. The Sawmill Operator south of the Varrock Lumber Yard can convert wood to planks for you, as well as sell you nails.

     Enter your house and switch to "Building Mode" from your options menu. White, semi-transparent outlines appear throughout your home.

     Select one of the chair-shaped white outlines. Right-click on the outline and select "Build." A menu displays your available build options.

     Select "Crude Wooden Chair." Your character now builds the chair.
