How to Get Your Sim to Be a Cheerleader on The Sims 3

"The Sims 3" is a computer game that allows players to create and live out the lives of a sim character. They can create a family for their sim as well as change the entire town. Sims grow older, going to school as a teen and will eventually start working. Making your sim become a cheerleader is not a default option in the game. However, you can download custom content to allow your sim to become a cheerleader.

Instructions

  Load your web browser and go to a "Sims 3" content site such as The Sims Resource, The Sims3 or Mod The Sims.

  Search for a cheerleader outfit for your sim that you like. Download the file and save it to your hard drive.

  Open "The Sims 3" folder in the "My Documents" directory, such as "Users/userName/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3."

  Download the "FrameworkSetup.zip" file, available on "The Sims 3" community sites, and extract the contents of the file into your "The Sims 3" folder in "My Documents."

  Open the "Packages" folder inside the "Mods" folder in the "My Documents" directory. Place the .package file downloaded in Step 2 in the "Packages" folder.

  Load "The Sims 3" and select your sim. Make your sim go the dresser or closet and change into the cheerleader uniform.
