How to Get Inside Hoover Dam on New Vegas

In Fallout 3: New Vegas, Hoover Dam plays an important part of the story, as it is where the final battle of the game takes place. If you want to explore Hoover Dam, you can do so at any point in the game, provided that you have a neutral or better reputation with the New California Republic faction in the game. Fallout 3 : New Vegas is made by Bethesda and is a PC, Xbox and PS3 video game, available in retail stores for all three platforms.

Instructions

  Head south from your starting location at the beginning of the game, in the town of Goodsprings.

  Go east once you come to the town of Nipton, then head north through the pass that is just east of Nipton.

  Stop at the town of Boulder Springs and head east, through the pass towards the river. The Hoover Dam will appear in the distance.
- 4
  Walk along the top of the Hoover Dam until you reach the first doorway, guarded by several NCR troopers. Walk up to the door and press "E" to enter Hoover Dam.
