How to Get NBTedit for Minecraft

NBTedit is a program for editing the named binary tag, or NBT, files used by "Minecraft." NBTedit is an unofficial program created by a "Minecraft" player known as Copyboy. NBTedit provides a graphical user interface that shows the contents of an NBT file and allows users to modify, add or remove values contained in the NBT file. You can download NBTedit for free from Copyboy's thread on the official "Minecraft" forums.

Instructions

  Open the NBTedit thread page on the "Minecraft" forums at MinecraftForum.net in your Web browser.

  Click the "Click Me" link to the right of "Download" on the page, and save the NBTedit.zip file to your computer.

  Double-click the download "NBTedit.zip" file on your computer to open it.

  Drag and drop the files from the NBTedit.zip file folder into another folder on your computer.

  Double-click the "NBTedit.exe" file to launch NBTedit.
