How to Build a Sloped Garage in Sims 2

"The Sims 2" allows players, for the first time in "The Sims" series, to define the type of roof they want for their houses and garages. The ability to do so gives your house, garage and neighborhood a nicer aesthetic. One roof option is a sloped rooftop. All options can be accessed within the "Build" menu at any time in-game.

Instructions

    • 1

      Press "F3" at any time in-game to enter "Build" mode. Wait a few minutes for the mode to load.

      Click the rooftop image on the "Build" menu.

      Select one of the sloped rooftop options. This includes hip, 3-hip and half-hip rooftops. The roof will change in real time so you can preview the roof before saving it.

    • 4

      Press "F1" at any time to return to the game and save your changes.
