How to Make a Baal Bot in Diablo II

Using a script to automate Baal runs can save a huge amount of time in both leveling and farming items for your character. Such scripts are available for every class, and there are many scripts that can be tweaked based on your gear level and desired speed. Combined with D2NT, these scripts can be set up and run in under 10 minutes.

  Download, extract and install D2NT.

  Navigate to the root directory of the D2NT installation, and locate the class configuration file for the class to be used in the bot. For example, if you will be using a paladin, select "NTConfig_Paladin.ntl" and rename it to include your character name like "NTConfig_Paladin_MyPaladin.ntl" where "MyPaladin" is your character name.

  Copy your Baal script into the file listed in Step 2. There are many Baal scripts available for all classes. Select one for the class you wish to use, then use Notepad or a similar text editor to open the file and paste in the script. Save and close the file.

  Run the bot program, and enter the information it asks for including account information and game difficulty. When complete, select "Save" then "Run." This will launch the game and run the bot.
