How Do I Test Guild Connect?

"Everquest 2" has had dozens of programs and in-game mods designed for it, to customize your playing experience. One tool, Guild Connect, allows guild members to set up a chat room and easily converse with others privately -- via a third-party program that must be run outside of "Everquest 2." If you've already set up a chat room, you can easily test the room with another member of your guild.

     Log in to your created chat room on "Guild Connect." A welcome message should appear when you connect.

     Instruct another guild member to connect to the chat room you have set up. You will need to provide the member with the room's name and password.

     Type a message, and press "Enter." If the member receives the messages, the program and your chat room are properly working.
