How to Ride on Mir in MapleStory

Mir is a dragon-like mount that follows your Evan-type characters in MapleStory. As your character levels, Mir grows and becomes more detailed. At level 50, you can purchase a saddle for Mir so that you can ride your mount through the game, instead of walking. This increases your speed by at least 50 percent so you require less time to move through the maps. In addition to an increase in speed, riding Mir also increases your ability to jump higher.

Instructions

  Travel to the city of Ellinia at level 50 and enter Grendel the Really Old's home at the top of the map. Talk to the NPC to complete several mini-quests, which do not require you to leave the house.

  Move to the city of Perion and enter the "Job" building to talk to Fangblade as instructed by Grendel. This NPC will then instruct you

  Travel to the Aquarium to talk to Kenta who is at the zoo. You can travel to Orbis via ship from Ellinia and then climb down the Orbis tower to reach the aquarium. Kenta will instruct you to kill seals for their skins.

  Head West (left) and attack female seals for 50 skins. After collecting skins, move two maps to the right of the aquarium to locate the boss Seruf, a clam-like monster. Defeat this boss to collect a pearl.

  Return to Kenta and pay 10-million mesos to earn the saddle. Return to Perion, on Victoria Island, and talk to Fangblade in Perion. He will then give you the mount skill. Double-click on this skill the use it and ride Mir.
