How to Get an NCR Safehouse Key

The NCR, or New California Republic, is a faction in the PC/Xbox/PS3 video game "Fallout 3: New Vegas." If you choose to align yourself with this faction throughout the game, you can gain bonuses provided by the faction, which can help you through a variety of situations, both in battle and while you are trading and performing noncombative quests. One such benefit is a key to an NCR safehouse, which has supplies, armor and weapons that can aid you in your quests.

Instructions

  Focus on completing high level quests for the NCR, such as killing all of the Fiend leaders at Camp McCarran and restarting the power generator at Helios One. You must complete at least two of these high level quests for you to gain a favorable reputation with the NCR.

  Travel to Camp McCarran once you have a favorable NCR reputation.

  Travel inside the main terminal building, and proceed left to speak with Colonel Hsu. As long as your reputation is at a sufficient level, Colonel Hsu will immediately give you a key to the NCR safehouse and mark its location on your map, thanking you for your service to the NCR.
