How to Combine Runes in League of Legends

The "League of Legends" computer game lets players customize their characters by equipping "runes" that augment the characters' fighting abilities. The game also features a rune combiner that lets players combine runes to create new runes. If a player combines two runes with the rune combiner, they are given a random rune of the same tier. If the player combines five runes with the rune combiner, however, they are given a random run of the next highest tier, making rune combining an important aspect of character customization.

Instructions

  Double-click the "League of Legends" icon to launch the game. Type your login information in the spaces provided and log into your "League of Legends" game account.

  Click the "Player Profile" button at the top of the main page to view your player profile.

  Click the "Runes" tab on your player profile page to view the runes you have collected.

  Click the "Rune Combiner" icon in the bottom-right corner of the "Runes" page to navigate to the "Rune Combiner" screen.

  Click the rune you wish to use in the left column and drag the rune into one of the "Rune Combiner" slots. Repeat for any other runes you want to combine.

  Click the "Combine" button in the center of the "Rune Combiner" to combine the runes.
