How to Troubleshoot Command and Conquer 2: Tiberian Sun

"Command &Conquer: Tiberian Sun" is a real-time strategy game for PC released in 1999. The game was rereleased in 2006 as part of the "Command &Conquer: The First Decade" compilation pack. As of February 2010, the game was declared freeware and users can download it legally. Running the game on modern operating systems, such as Windows 7, can generate error messages, but after some troubleshooting, the game will be perfectly playable.

Instructions

    • 1

Install "Command &Conquer: Tiberian Sun" from your original game disc, the "First Decade" compilation or the free Internet download.

Click "Apply" and click "OK" to close the menu. Right-click on the "game.exe" file and select "Run as Administrator" from the pop-up menu. The game will start and should now be fully working.

Remove your game disc from the DVD drive and check for scratches or dirt. Clean it if you find any irregularities, as any damage or smudges on the disc can lead to the game locking up while trying to load data from it.
