How to Increase Your Sim's Chance to Have a Girl

When you play the Sims life simulation computer game, choosing the gender of a baby can be easy if you save at the right time. The baby will be born within a day after the mother's belly expands for the second time. Save frequently, and watch the mom closely for the beginning of the labor pains. She (or he, in the case of an alien-abducted male) will clench her fists and grit her teeth. Also, other Sims will stop what they are doing and gather to watch her. You will get the quickest results if you pause and save the game at the beginning of the labor.

     Save the household right before the baby is born.

     Exit the household without saving if the baby turns out to be a boy.

   • 3

     Enter the household again, and wait for the baby to be reborn.

   • 4

     Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you get a girl baby. Name her and save the household.
