How to Kill Flesh Golems in Baldur's Gate

Baldur's Gate is not a thinking man's game. It helped to define the genre of hack'n'slash role playing with its simple gameplay that involves finding enemies and killing them. In such a game, you begin to feel that you can take any enemy out with an all out charge; if that is the case, the flesh golems may surprise you. These bestial characters are immune to spells and normal weapons, so your standard tactics may fail to even tickle them. You will need an enchanted weapon to slice through them, and a few defensive potions won't hurt either.

Instructions

  Equip your character with an enchanted weapon. These items can be created for you at a cost or you can loot them from the bodies of your victims. If your character is a close combat warrior, loot for a two-handed weapon as this will increase your range and keep you from getting pummeled. If your character is an archer, equip enchanted arrows for a quick kill.

  Send your warrior in to attack golems head-on. Hack away with your enchanted blade to kill them. You'll receive a few blows, so you'll need healing potions. Drink a defensive potion as well to take less damage.

  Attack with an archer from a distance. Fire away and back off while you wear down your opponent. If you continue to back off and fire, the golem should be dead before it can reach you.
