The Best Way to Kill Diablo in Diablo: Hellfire

The "Hellfire" expansion for "Diablo" integrates the added features as a side quest. Several additional items, the Monk class and additional quests are added, but ultimately optional. Diablo is still the final boss in the main storyline. There is an easy way to kill Diablo that any class can use. Unlike "Diablo II," all of the classes in "Diablo" have access to the same set of spells. Some classes are more effective with these spells, due to the differing attributes, but all the classes can use the same tactics to kill Diablo.

Mana Shield
Fire Wall
Mana potions

Instructions

  Cast Mana Shield on yourself. This spell causes damage you take to hit your mana pool rather than your health.

  Move away from the other monsters around where Diablo appears. Diablo follows you, so you can wait here until he approaches.

  Cast Fire Wall on Diablo. This spell creates a wall of flames that damages anything standing inside it. Keep recasting the spell after the effect ends.

  Use mana potions to refill your mana, which is going to deplete as Diablo casts spells on you and you use Fire Wall. You just need to keep your mana from depleting until the Fire Wall kills Diablo.
