How to Activate Ground Crew Given With Downloaded Plane in FSX

The ground crew included in "Flight Simulator X" is little more than fancy bells and whistles in the game, and serves little actual purpose beyond providing something to look at while you unload passengers and luggage. It is also only available on the most graphically-intense settings available in the game and cannot be seen if your graphics are set to anything other than "Ultra-High." You can activate the ground crew with a few specific button commands.

     Land your plane at any airport and taxi up to the yellow "park" line.

     Bring your plane to a stop at the line, then turn off your engines and your batteries so that the plane is completely powered down.

     Press "Ctrl" and "J" to extend the jetway to the cabin door.

   • 4

     Press "Shift" and "E," then press "2" to open your cargo doors. The baggage handler trucks will automatically come out once the doors are open.
