How to Make Inanimate Objects Alive in ROBLOX

"ROBLOX" is a free-form, world-building game that allows players to create objects and animate them into living things. Players can build other non-player characters (NPCs), zombies, animals, dragons or anything else they can imagine. The difference between a statue of a zombie and an object that actually has humanoid characteristics, however, is quite significant in "ROBLOX." Any player can animate inanimate objects in their game worlds in a few steps.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open ""ROBLOX" studios.

    • 2

Create an object by dragging bricks into the game world from the "Objects" tab on the right of the screen or locate one of your built objects you wish to animate.

    • 3

Expand the "Workspace" tab on the right of the screen.

    • 4

Group the objects you wish to animate by dragging your mouse pointer over the objects in the game world, right-clicking, and selecting "Group." This action will enable you to animate all parts of a creature model, rather than just one brick that composes it.

    • 5

Expand your character model folder under "Workspace."

    • 6

      Copy the "Humanoid" folder.

    • 7

Locate the folder of the grouped objects under "Workspace" and expand it.

    • 8

Paste the "Humanoid" folder in the folder of the grouped object. This action will imbue the inanimate object with animate traits, such as health and a movement speed. The creature will be a blank slate you can program however you like.
