In "Dragon Age: Origins," you can choose from many different origin stories to start your character's quest against the Darkspawn. One such origin story is the "Human Noble," in which you play the second son to Terryn Bryce Cousland, a nobleman in the game. Early on, your family is betrayed and the castle attacked from within by Arl Howe's forces. The castle is lost and your character gravely outnumbered, so your only choice is to escape through the kitchen.

Exit your character's bedroom to fight some soldiers.

Travel north, fighting some additional enemy soldiers.

Travel east. You will continue to meet enemy soldiers. Fight your way to the Main Hall, where you will battle more enemies.

Exit the main hall through the north door.

Move west, still fighting, until you reach the kitchen door, which is the only door you can go through.
