How to Make Your Sims Wear a Burglar Outfit

Click on a newspaper or computer to have your Sim look for a new career as a criminal. Every day, new job listings are available, however if the criminal career path is not available, have your Sim visit the warehouse in town to directly apply for the job.

Increase your Sim's athletic skills by exercising on home gym equipment, in front of a TV or stereo or in a swimming pool. Sims need high athletic skill levels to become promoted in the criminal career path.

Befriend your coworkers, which are listed as accomplices in your Sim's relationship menu. Having a good relationship with your fellow criminals will also fast track your Sim for a promotion. Invite your coworkers over to hang out or go out to dinner or a movie in town to quickly build the relationship.

Go to work in a good mood to be considered for promotion. Sims in the criminal career path mostly work at night, giving you plenty of time to make sure your Sim has slept enough, eaten, used the bathroom and showered before work.

Continue improving your athletic skills, strengthening your work relationships and going to work in a good mood to receive job promotions. At Level 7, you will have to decide whether to make your Sim go down the Master Thief or Emperor of Evil career path. You must choose Master Thief to be able to unlock the burglar outfit.

Gain an additional promotion to Level 8 to be given the Bank Robber job title and the burglar outfit.

Click on a dresser or wardrobe to change your Sim's clothes to the burglar outfit.
