How to Load an Enemy Faction in RTW

"Rome: Total War" is a real-time strategy game for the computer that has a range of single-player modes for you to complete and practice in before you begin battling online. Even the game's campaign can be challenging at times, which can make practicing in basic skirmishes against the computer a necessity. Loading an enemy faction into a basic skirmish is simple, and you can even adjust the number of enemy factions that are loaded in the match.

Instructions

  Click "Singleplayer" from the main-menu of "Rome: Total War." A list of game modes for one player will appear.

  Click "Skirmish" from the list game modes. A standard battle preparation window will appear. The settings and parameters of the map will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

  Edit the parameters of the battle to meet your desired conditions, such as the number of enemy factions and the map you will play on.

  Click "Start Match" to load the game with yourself and enemy factions.
