How to Make Sculptures in Minecraft

"Minecraft" is a action-adventure game for the PC that, in addition to letting you go spelunking, allows you to build your own structures one block at a time. Many players choose to decorate their world with custom-made statues of many different shapes and sizes. Making a sculpture can be a very challenging endeavor that spans multiple days.

  Collect several hundred pieces of the resource to make the statue. For example, if you want to make a stone statue, you will need to gather stone from the game's many cave systems.

  Lay a block of bricks that is as wide and high as you expect the sculpture to be. When all the blocks are laid, it should resemble a giant square that is as wide and high as the statues widest and highest points will be.

  Remove blocks with either a shovel or pickaxe slowly to sculpt your statues. Remove only a block at a time and concentrate on one side at a time. As you remove blocks, your statue will slowly take shape, which you can always add blocks back to if you take away too many.
