How to Use Scripts for Diablo 2 Bots

Running bots for the "Diablo 2" video game helps to save time, and custom scripts can greatly enhance the functionality of these programs. Scripts can automate magic finding, character leveling and even trading. They are easy to use, and you can have one running in under five minutes.

Instructions

  Open the class-configuration file in the root directory of your bot program installation. It should look something like "Config_classname.ntl" where "classname" is the class that the script is to be used on (example from D2NT: "NTConfig_paladin.ntl"). You can use notepad or any text editor to open the file.

  Copy and paste your script into the file. Select "Save" then "Close."

  Rename the file to include your character name (example: "NTConfig_paladin_MyPaladin.ntl").

  Launch the bot program and enter your "Diablo 2" account information, game difficulty and cd key file path (unless you have renamed this file, it will be "d2char.mpq;d2sfx.mpq").

  Click "OK" then "Run" to run the bot using your script.
