Instructions
Enter Dunderhaed. You encounter this town at the end of Chapter Three. After a short scene, Jotunn, Chieftain of the Tribes, and a group of five random beastmen attack the village. All of the villagers hide when he appears.
Cast "Cold" on Jotunn. This causes his movement speed to temporarily slow down. He can kill you very quickly if he gets within melee range. He is not the main threat to the houses, so you want to postpone fighting him initially. Keep casting "Cold" on him when it wears off to prevent him from closing in on you.
Kill any Beast Raiders or Beast Raider Alphas that appear. These are the beastmen carrying torches. There are no special considerations for what spells you should use to damage them. These enemies should be your main priority whenever they appear. A random beastman spawns when you kill any beastman, but no more than five can spawn at any time.
Kill any other type of beastmen that appears. Beast Brute Alphas are resistant to fire or earth spells. Beast Raider Alphas are resistant to lightning damage. Beast Brutes have no special defenses. All of the beastmen stop spawning after you kill six Beast Brutes, six Beast Brute Alphas or six Beast Raider Alphas.
Kill Jotunn with ranged spells or weapons. Keep "Cold" on him at all times to prevent him from getting close. He is immune to lightning spells, but any other type of spell works fine. Jotunn is a very easy boss to defeat if you do not allow him to get into melee range.
Watch the scene after defeating Jotunn. The mayor gives you the M60 if the raiders destroyed none of the houses.
Equip the M60 as your current weapon.
Press the left mouse button while holding down the "Shift" key to fire the M60. Hold down the mouse button to continuously fire it on automatic.
