How to Name a Brick in ROBLOX

The free-form massively multi-player online game, "ROBLOX" allows players to build any structure that a player can imagine by stacking models called bricks. These bricks not only act as the base material for structures, they also serve as anchors for code. Players can program their structures with doors, elevators, guns, teleporters or virtually anything else. With such variety, it is imperative for players to name some of their more important bricks to more easily remember which brick performs which scripts.

     Enter the "ROBLOX" world builder.

     Search through the list of items on the right of the screen, locate a brick and drag it into the game world.

     Name the brick by clicking on it to open the name editor on the bottom right of the screen. Locate the dialogue box reading "Part." This is the default name of a brick. Replace "Part" with another word to give the brick a name.

     Save the game.
