How to Make a Bot in Single Player Diablo 2

Using bots in "Diablo 2" can save a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as character leveling, boss killing and even trading. Since this game runs single-player mode over a TCP/IP connection, most of the scripts that work for online play will also work in single-player. These scripts are easy to use, and require no programming experience. You can have one running in 10 minutes or less.

Things You'll Need

  • A botting program such as D2NT (available free online)
  • A script

Instructions

    • 1

Download a botting program. D2NT is recommended as it is free and beginner-friendly.

    • 2

      Extract and install D2NT.

    • 3

Navigate to the root directory of the D2NT installation, and locate the class configuration file for the class to be used in the bot. For example, if you will be using a paladin, select "NTConfig_Paladin.ntl" and rename it to include your character name like "NTConfig_Paladin_MyPaladin.ntl" where "MyPaladin" is your character name.

    • 4

Copy and paste the script you wish to run into the file from Step 3. This can be done using Notepad or an equivalent text editor.

    • 5

Run the bot program, and enter the information it requests including account information and game difficulty.

    • 6

Select "Save" then "Run" to load and use the bot.
