How to Get Volatiles in Cataclysm

The "Cataclysm" expansion for the "World of Warcraft" comes with numerous additions to the game, including new elements called volatiles. These elements come in five different flavors: water, life, fire, earth and air. They assist players in crafting epic-level armor for their characters. The only way to naturally obtain any of these volatile elements is to defeat certain enemies and wait for them to drop.

Instructions

  Travel to an area with volatile-dropping enemies. For water, this includes Deepholm, Grim Batol, Kelp'thar Forest, Mount Hyjal and Tol Barad. For life, this includes the Halls of Origination and Uldum. For fire, this includes Blackrock Caverns, Deepholm and Molten Front. For earth, this includes Molten Front and Twilight Highlands. For air, this includes the Black Temple and Deepholm.

  Defeat enemies who drop volatile elements. Several types of enemies drop different elements. For water, this includes the Gyreworm and a Twilight Laborer; life, a Living Vine and the Mac Frog; fire, a Twilight Enforcer and a Flame Terror; earth, a Tor-Tun and an Obsidian Stoneslave; and for air, a Stone Bat and a Stone Drake.

  Hold down the "Shift" key. Right-click the fallen enemy. This automatically loots everything from your enemy's body, including any volatiles in the mixture.
