How to Assign a Specific Player to a Specific Planet in Sins of a Solar Empire

"Sins of a Solar Empire" is a science fiction, strategy game for the computer. Players take control of one of the various races in the game and work against the other opponents in a race to take over all the planets in the solar system. Players strive to take control of important resources, and create weapons to use against other players. After colonizing a planet, a player must fortify its defenses against attack. Assigning specific units in your army to these planets will help protect it against opposing forces.

Instructions

  Begin a new game of "Sins of a Solar Empire."

  Select a faction to use during gameplay. The TEC, Advent and Vasari are the available races to use and each comes with its own advantages, disadvantages and unit types. Be sure to review against which units your military is strong and against which it is weak to create a balanced race.

  Build your military fleet. Use the available resources to purchase new types of space ships and soldiers to use in battle. As your race continues to grow, you will unlock new types of technologies that will allow you to research new types of ships and soldiers. As your soldiers become more experienced through battle, their rank will increase. These units can be placed at specific plants to protect that location.

  Select a planet to colonize. You can either colonize an uninhabited planet or attack one of your opponent's planets to take control. Once you have defeated all the enemy units, your race will now take over that area. If you select an uninhabited planet, just approach it with your military units to colonize that area.

  Select the highest ranking units from your military forces. Assign them to your new planet to help protect it from attack by your opponents. Assign additional units to assist defending that location as well. Spread out your most powerful units among your colony.
