How to Change the Graphics Setting for Textures in CSS

By changing the texture detail setting in "Counter-Strike: Source," or CSS, you can either improve the game's performance on an older computer or improve its graphics quality on a faster machine. "Counter-Strike: Source is a 3D" computer game which, like other 3D software, uses textures. Textures are picture files that the game places over 3D models, such as characters or props. You can make "Counter-Strike: Source" use more detailed or less detailed textures by editing the game's video settings.

     Launch "Counter-Strike: Source" by double-clicking on its shortcut on your Windows desktop or in your Start menu.
