How to Get More Money on Creature Creators for Spore

"Spore" gives players an unprecedented level of control and customization in creating their creatures, but body parts in the Creature Creator mode must be purchased with DNA Points. These DNA Points can only be earned during the Cell and Creature Stages during the early parts of the game. While all players are given a set amount of DNA Points, there are a few tasks the player can perform in order to earn extra DNA Points, allowing you to create more elaborate and unique creatures.

Instructions

Earning DNA Points in the Cell Stage

  Complete side missions to earn DNA. During the Cell Stage, optional missions will appear in the upper-left corner of the screen. By completing the objective of each mission, which can range from consuming a set amount of food or defeating an enemy, players will be rewarded with additional DNA points.

  Eat plant food. Plant food appears as tiny green pellets, and require either a filter mouth or a proboscis body part to eat. Each plant pellet you eat will grant a tiny amount of DNA points.

  Eat carnivore food. Meat pellets appear as tiny red pellets, and require either a jaw or a proboscis body part to eat. Each meat pellet will grant a tiny amount of DNA points when consumed.
Earning DNA Points in the Creature Stage

  Befriend another species' nest. This is the most peaceful route to gaining DNA, and it requires you to become allies with the many creature species in the game world. Use the social stance on a single creature and complete the mini-game to befriend it. Once you have befriended three creatures of the same species, you will become allied with the entire nest and earn DNA points.

  Eliminate another species. By using your attack abilities, you can aggressively wipe out an entire nest of creatures. You must kill every creature in a species' nest in order to earn the DNA points. This can be repeated with as many nests as you want.

  Eat the eggs of another species' nest. Each foreign nest will have some eggs guarded by warrior creatures. Each time you eat an egg, you will receive additional DNA points. However, this will make the entire nest hostile, and they will attack you.

  Reunite with other creatures of your species. At a later point in the Creature Stage, your own nest will split off, and several creatures will migrate to another location. If you follow and reunite with your species' new nest, you will earn extra DNA points.

  Defeat an epic creature. These are gigantic creatures that randomly appear in the game world. If you are able to defeat one, you will be rewarded with 100 DNA points. However, epic creatures are very tough, and are capable of killing you in a single attack. It is recommended you use quick attacks from behind in order to wear down the epic creature, or befriend other species and bring them to the fight as allies.
