How to Create Stun Projectiles in X-COM

"X-COM: UFO Defense" is still considered one of the greatest strategy games ever created, even decades after its original release. You take on the role of the X-COM leader tasked with defending Earth from the invading alien races. Your soldiers will have a variety of weapons and items available to them in their fight, one of which is the Small Launcher. The Small Launcher is a stun weapon that fires Stun Bombs, enabling you to capture live aliens for interrogation after the mission. You can also manufacture Stun Bombs at any base with an Engineering facility.

Instructions

  Complete research on both the Small Launcher and the Stun Bomb. You cannot use or manufacture either item until you have researched them through the "Research" button in the base screen.

  Click the base where you want the Stun Bombs manufactured.

  Select the "Manufacture" button, then click the "New Production" button in the manufacturing screen.

  Scroll down the list of items until you locate the "Stun Bomb" item.

  Click "Stun Bomb." Select how many units you wish to produce and assign the appropriate amount of engineers to the job, then click the "Start Production" button. The Stun Bombs will be manufactured one-at-a-time over the length of the manufacturing period.
