How to Get the Bandaid on Destructoid

"Super Meat Boy" is an independently developed 2D platformer, released in 2010 for Xbox Live Arcade and the PC. Players control Meat Boy in a series of increasingly difficult levels to rescue his girlfriend, Bandage Girl. In each stage, there are hidden or obscure challenge items called "Bandages" that can be collected for Achievements and unlockable characters. In the level 2-18, called "Destructoid," Meat Boy must find his way to the Bandage hovering in the center of the stage, above the saw.

Instructions

  Make your way over to the the key on the far-right of the screen, which occurs without incident. After grabbing the key, run as fast as you can to outrace the disappearing path back to the start of the stage. Jump on the platform that you started the stage on.

  Wait until the timer reaches "00:21" -- when the lasers dim. Jump toward the black square to the right of the start platform, aiming for this black square to enter the secret area in the middle. Run along the bottom of the platform, then jump toward the rightmost wall, wall jump at the apex of this jump, and hold left to sail over the saw -- collecting the bandage.

  Return to the secret entrance, and drop down. Run all the way to the left, up the wall, then drop down to save Bandage Girl and end the level.
