How to Make a Driveway for My Apartment in Sims 2

"Sims 2" is a sandbox-style game that encourages creativity and freeform expression by the player as he builds a house and manages the lives of those living in it. One of the easiest ways to express a player's personality is in the way that he designs his house. Driveways are a popular and classic addition to any family home, but adding a driveway can be tricky for new players.

      Enter Build Mode to access the construction menu in the game.

      Locate the "Garage" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and click on it.

      Build your garage on an empty portion of land. Once constructed, you will be able to connect your garage to the street.

      Purchase the driveway from the icon near the "Garage" icon and drag your mouse over the land where you want to build your driveway. Make sure that the driveway touches the street and your garage.
