How to Get the Firefighter Award in Sims Ambitions

"The Sims 3: Ambitions" expansion pack brings a bevvy of new career options to the table, allowing your Sims to work as a firefighter and other exciting jobs. Firefighter Sims must report to the firehouse for work each day, but unlike other careers you can still control your Sim while he is at work as the majority of the time is spent waiting for emergencies to occur. Successfully completing various firefighter missions will earn your Sim the admiration of the public and an award or trophy to display in his home.

Instructions

  Begin the firefighter career path if you have not already done so. Click on a newspaper or computer to see if the job is available or have your Sim visit the town's fire station to directly start this career.

  Rescue other Sims during emergency situations to earn multiple firefighter awards. Click on a Sim to save him during an emergency situation. Saving two Sims will earn you the "Firefighter's Trophy of Honor" while saving ten Sims gives you the "Firefighter's Medal of Aegis." When you save twelve Sims at the maximum career level, you earn the "Golden Fire Hydrant" award.

  Complete the "Epic Disaster" events to earn additional rewards. These are emergencies that occur in public areas. You cannot control your Sim during these events, so just send your Sim to the area and let him handle the rest. Successfully complete the "Epic Science Facility Disaster" to receive the "Firefighter's Medal of Heroism." Complete the "Epic Hospital Disaster" to earn the "Firefighter's Medal of Safekeeping." Finish the "Epic Warehouse Disaster" to earn the "Firefighter's Ribbon of Bravery."

  Complete the "Gnome Invasion" disaster event to receive the "Firefighter's Trophy of Valor." During the "Gnome Invasion" event you are able to control your Sim. Click on the gnomes around the house to capture them and complete this event.

  Continue to complete firefighter missions to earn job experience points. As your Sim earns experience points, his job level will increase. At job level ten, which is the maximum job level, he will receive the "Firefighter's Key to the Town."
