How to Make a Screensaver on the No Limits Coaster

NoLimits Coaster simulator gives you a front row seat to virtual roller coaster rides. The simulator includes 16 pre-made tracks for you to explore from a first person view. The application also features and editor, which you can use to create your own roller coasters and tracks. And if you can't get enough of the breathtaking tracks in NoLimits Coaster, you can take advantage of the simulator's "Screensaver" screenshot utility and create a screensaver for your computer.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch the No Limits Simulator. Click on the "Track" option in the simulator's main menu, and then click on the track you'd from which you'd like to extract images for your screensaver.

    • 2

Click on the "Ride" option in the simulator's main menu to begin riding the selected track.

    • 3

Press the "K" button at any point during the simulation to take screenshots. Take as many screenshots as you'd like. Press the "Esc" button on your keyboard to return to the main menu, after you're done saving screenshots.

    • 4

Select another track to capture screenshots, if desired, or select the "Quit" option from the simulator's main menu.

    • 5

Navigate your Web browser to an online image converter, such as the ones available at Online Convert and Online Utility. Click on the utility's "Browse" button, and then locate the first screenshot in your folder.

    • 6

Click on the utility's "Convert" button to encode your uncompressed TGA file into a screensaver compatible format -- convert all of the files in the folder.

    • 7

Click on the "Start" button in your task bar. Type "Screen saver" into the Start menu's search box, and then click on the "Change Screen Saver" icon that appears in the search results.

    • 8

Click on the "Screen Saver" menu box in the Screen Saver Settings menu. Select the "Photos" option from the menu box. Click on the "Settings" button.

    • 9

Click on the "Browse" button in the settings menu to set your NoLimits Simulator "Screenshots" folder as the source for your screen saver. The "Browse for folder" file explorer window will appear.

    • 10

Expand the "Computer" heading, and then select the hard drive that contains your installation of NoLimits Simulator. Expand the "Program Files" heading and the "NoLimits Coasters" heading beneath it. Click on the "Screenshots" folder, and then click "OK" to set your screensaver.
