Move the video options slider to all the way to the left to "Low."

Turn off "Anti-Aliasing," "V-Sync," "Glow," "Rag Doll," "Bullet Holes," "Depth of Field," and "Soften Smoke Edges" in the "Advance Video Options" tab.
