How to Get to The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned in Borderlands

"Borderlands" is a first-person shooter and role-playing game that draws inspiration from comic book art. "Borderlands" downloadable content packs, or DLCs, add extra levels, missions and enemies to the game. In "The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned" DLC, for example, you must infiltrate a zombie-infested town, protect the town's nonundead inhabitants and discover the source of the zombie outbreak. To start playing "The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned," use the "Borderlands" Fast Travel system to navigate to the Jakobs Cove map.

     Launch "Borderlands." Click "Single Player," and then click the name of your "Borderlands" character to load your saved game.

     Turn around and move to the Fast Travel station. Press "E" to activate the station.

     Click "Jakobs Cove" in the Locations list. Wait for "Borderlands" to load the Jakobs Cove map.

     Walk across the wooden bridge, and then follow the string of lights running through the trees until you reach a tunnel. Walk through the tunnel; the first gang of zombies emerges from the pool of water at the end of the tunnel.
