How to Trade Wirelessly in Pokemon Soul Silver

In the "Pokemon" games, trading is half the fun. There are upwards of 400 different Pokemon to collect, and there are only about 150 in each game. To complete your collection, you're going to have to trade other Pokemon players. With every gaming platform, trading Pokemon has always been done a bit differently. The Nintendo DS made it easier than ever, and in the more recent versions of Pokemon, you can trade with players from across the world wirelessly.

Instructions

    • 1

Play the game until you acquire the item Pal Pad. This will let you store friend codes, which are sets of numbers that uniquely identify each Pokemon player. Your personal friend code can be found in the Pal Pad, as well.

    • 2

Exchange friend codes with someone. This can be done online with someone you've never met or with a good friend, as long as they play a Nintendo DS version of Pokemon.

    • 3

Set a time to meet with the other person, then head to any Pokemon Center in the game.

    • 4

Go upstairs and speak to the girl at the middle desk. If your friend made it on time, you will be allowed to enter the Wi-Fi Club where you'll be able to see each other and trade your Pokemon.
