How to Increase the Inventory Size in Mass Effect

"Mass Effect" is a 2007 science-fiction game featuring the traditional inventory space, allowing you to hold extra weapons and pieces of armor to sell for extra credits, the in-game currency. At times, however, you will find yourself unable to pick up extra weapons because of the abundance scattered in each level, especially if you forget to sell some before your next mission. You can increase your inventory size on the PC version using a slight modification.

     Press "Start" on your keyboard and type "BioWare" into the text field.

     Press "Enter" when the folder option appears to open it.

     Double-click the "Config" folder, followed by the "BioGame.ini" file.

     Locate "m_nMaxInventoryItems" in the list. Change the value to "9999."

   • 5

     Click "File" and "Save" to save your changes. This fully maximizes your in-game inventory space to its limits.
