Exit the Tower of Secrets after receiving the lump of coal from Hepmortula. Go to the Tower Yard where you'll receive a message telling you to learn about beast curses.
Travel to the Forest Cottage and enter the building. Click on the book about beasts on the bookshelf to learn about the ingredients you need to lift the curse: water, ragwort and beast fur.
Go to the Gnome Hideout. Select the bucket from your inventory and click on the pond to fill the bucket with water.
Travel to the Hamlet of Brenn. Find the four plants hidden in the scene to obtain ragwort.
Go back to the Tower Yard. Click on the beast to get its fur.
Travel to the Forest Cottage and enter the building. Click on the workshop table. Remove the beast fur and ragwort from your inventory and place them on the table.
Click on the water bucket in your inventory and click on the cauldron. Add the beast fur and ragwort to the cauldron. Click on the spoon and stir the mixture. Add fairy dust to the cauldron. Take an empty flask from the table and click on the cauldron to fill the flask with the beast-reversal potion.
Travel to the Tower Yard. Click on the potion, then click on the beast to return William back to his human form. William asks you to talk to Isabelle.
Go to the Haunted Cottage and enter. Speak to Isabelle's ghost, who will give you instructions. Exit the cottage and use your shovel to dig near the grave on the right side of the cottage. Click on the brooch you uncover, then find the five jewelry pieces to obtain the brooch.
Travel to the Tower Yard. Give the brooch to William, who will travel with you. Go back to the Haunted Cottage and enter the building to reunite the lovers. Isabelle tells you that you need to find a potion to restore her to life in order to defeat Hepmortula.
Go to the Enchanted Painting. Speak to the satyr, who tells you that the elixir you need is in the chasm below. Click on the tree stump to learn that you need a rope to descend, and that you have to use the coal in the gazebo to get it.
Travel to the Treehouse and enter it. Click on the stove on the right and find the four components of it in the room. Click on the stove again to open the door.
Place the coal in the stove and close the door. Open the door when prompted and remove the diamond.
Go to the Enchanted Gazebo. Put the diamond on the pedestal. It transforms into a rope. Find the four insects in the scene to obtain the rope.
