How to Make a Character on Torchlight

"Torchlight" is an action role-playing game developed by Runic Games and published by EncorePerfect World Entertainment in 2009. Several of the developers behind the successful "Diablo" series were involved with creation of the title. Players choose between three characters: the Destroyer, the Vanquisher and the Alchemist. The character creation process is quite simple and straightforward; players will find themselves ready to visit the town of Torchlight in no time.

  Left click "New Character" on the "Torchlight" title screen.

  Choose your character class. Click any of the three images to bring up a short bio to help you make your decision.

  Type your character's name in the space provided.

  Select a pet to join you on your adventure. There are three choices; a dog, a cat or an imaginary pet. An imaginary pet is a silent and invisible companion. Name your pet and click "Okay."

  Decide how challenging you want your adventure to be. There are four levels of difficulty to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard and Very Hard. Your character is now created.
