How to Get Pixie Dust in Sims

"The Sims" is a life simulation video game in which you take a third person roll in controlling one or more families of Sims. "The Sims" in itself is a fairly bare-bones game, relying mostly on expansion packs for the majority of its content. There are many of these expansion packs, one of which is "Makin' Magic." It is the final expansion pack for the first "The Sims" where you take up control of having Sims, who have magical items and can perform magic themselves. One of these magical items is Pixie Dust, which is an ingredient in many spells.

  Earn Magic Coins by performing magic acts in Magic town. There are three different stages to perform magic at, a little table, a stage, and a mystical stage. You'll want mechanical and logical skills to perform on these stages. If they aren't high enough you'll occasionally fail, although nothing too bad happens. As you get better and perform more powerful feats of magic, you get more magic coins. In all, you'll need 31 magic coins to get Pixie Dust.

  Buy the Pixie Dust once you have enough magic coins from Mara the Faerie Queen, who owns a shop called Faerie Mara's Odds and Ends in Magic Town.

  Use your Pixie Dust for various spells. The Relationship Boost Spell requires two things of honey and one thing of Pixie Dust. It permanently increases the daily relationship between both the caster and the target. The Enchant Spell requires one butter, one toadstool, and one Pixie Dust. This spell animates a garden gnome to do gardening for you.
  
  The Get Happy Spell requires one honey, one grapes, and one Pixie Dust. This increases all mood areas for the Sim except their "Room" mood. The Love Struck Spell requires one honey, one dragon tears, and one Pixie Dust. This spell permanently increases both daily and lifetime relationship bars, and creates a pink relationship love heart on the relationships tab indicating love.
