How Do I Unlock the Butter Churn on Westward 3?

"Westward 3: Gold Rush" is a strategy/simulation game that puts you in the shoes of a hero as she undergoes a wild west adventure for fame and glory. The butter churn is a building that's unlocked later in the game after you complete the "Trading Post Challenge." This building provides your hero with a new money making avenue and is required to fully complete the game. In addition to finishing the "Trading Post Challenge," you must also already own two cattle ranches. Complete these requirements and you'll unlock the butter churn.

Instructions

  Gather 140 gold and 180 wood for each cattle ranch by exploring areas around town for resources and employing towns folk to work at your establishments.

  Build a cattle farm in each town by visiting the town and clicking on the "Building" button in the heads-up display. Click on the "Cattle Ranch" icon to build the building.

  Travel to the trading post in every town and speak with the owner, who will request your service to gather something he or she desires.

  Gather the resources requested by the trading post owners by first looking around the trading post itself and slowly branching out your search from there; for example, if you have a water gathering request, look around the town for a well.

  Return the each trading post once you have gathered the resources requested and speak to the owner. The butter churn will unlock upon satisfying each trading post owner.
