How to Get Triplets in The Sims 3

"The Sims 3" game allows you to create a family and control many aspects of their lives. You are in command of whether or not your characters have children and how they go about it, including pregnancy and child birth. Most of the pregnancies that occur in your Sims will be singleton pregnancies. However, you can use several actions in the game to help increase your chances of having triplets. While the actions do not guarantee triplets, a multiples pregnancy is more likely.

Instructions

  Complete the actions in your Sim's want list, which is located in your dashboard at the bottom of the screen. At any given time, your Sim can have four desired actions, each with a specific amount of reward points.

  Visit the lifetime reward tab in your dashboard to purchase the "infertility treatment" reward using your accumulated reward points. The fertility treatment requires 10,000 reward points and only applies to the Sim for whom you purchase it. If you purchase it for both the male and female, the chances of triplets increases even more.

  Click on the television in the Sim's home and make the female watch children's shows to further increase the chances of triplets. Do this before the character becomes pregnant.

  Click on the bookcase or visit the bookstore or library to read children's books. This action can also increase the chance of multiples. Read these books prior to pregnancy.

  Choose the radio and listen to the children's music there to increase chances. Do this action prior to getting pregnant.

  Click on the bed and select "Relax" for both of your Sims. Once they are both relaxing, click on the one that is not selected in your dashboard and choose "Try for Baby." If you do not get pregnant on the first try, you can try again.
