"Lord of the Rings Online" ("LOTRO") is a free-to-play online role-playing game for the PC. It has over 1,000 quests, ranging from killing certain characters and exploring dungeons to interacting with other characters. In "Odd Requests," you are asked to check on the Mathom Society, a group of Hobbits who are collecting odd items. This quest starts the "Mathom Society" quest chain, a series of quests involving the society. You must complete "Odd Requests" before you can do any quests for the Mathom Society.

Speak to Hithlim, located at the entrance of Esteldin in the northeast corner of North Downs.

Accept the quest to speak to Greylond Bottomley about the Mathom Society.

Travel to The Delving Fields, located on the west side of The Shire.

Speak to Greylond Bottomley, located outside of the front door of the Mathom Society. The "Odd Requests" quest is now complete, and Greylond assigns you your first Mathom Society quest, "Mathoms."
