How to Explore the Ruins in 'The Sims'

"The Sims 3: World Adventures" is the first expansion pack for "The Sims 3" for PC. "World Adventures" allows you to take your Sim on an adventure to one of three locations: China, France or Egypt. While there, your Sim can learn new skills, purchase and find new items, and explore tombs and ruins. Exploring a tomb or ruin is a large part of your trip, usually found at the end of every adventure quest. To explore a ruin, you must first send your Sim to the correct location and begin the adventure quest.

Instructions

  Launch "The Sims 3: World Adventures" and select your Sim.

  Click on any telephone on that Sim's property.

  Click "More" followed by "Travel."

  Select a destination for your Sim in the upper left corner. Click the check mark in the bottom right corner to send your Sim to the selected location.

  Click on the board in front of your Sim when they arrive at the destination. Click "Check for Adventures."

  Click on an adventure quest and click the check mark in the bottom right corner to accept the adventure. The game directs you to a specific character who details your adventure quest and sends you to a tomb or a ruin.

  Click on any phone and select "Return Home" to travel back home.
