How to Get More Money in Ragnarok

Create a new character and make it become a merchant at job level 10. Kill Porings right outside of the starting area until about level 8 or 9. Then kill Pickies until you reach level 10. Pick up everything that drops, as selling the loot will provide new equipment for your merchant. Go to the Merchant Guild in Alberta to officially become a merchant.

Develop your merchant by continuing to train on Porings and Pickies. Move on to more difficult monsters when your merchant gets better equipment and is at a higher level. As your merchant increases in levels, it will obtain skill points. Put five points into Increase Weight Limit and as much as you can into Discount and Overcharge.

Go into any store and broadcast your Discount level if you decide to maximize Discount first. Players will pay you to buy items for them because you can purchase items for up to 24 percent less than the default price. To avoid getting scammed, request half the payment before making the transaction.

Go around Prontera or other popular player vendor sites to purchase cheap items if you decide to maximize your Overcharge levels first. Either sell the item to a nonplayer character or other players depending on who will pay more. You can sell an item for up to 24 percent of the default price if you maximize Overcharge.

Use your merchant to buy and sell items for all of your other characters. This will save and make you lots of money over time. Whenever your character needs potions, buy them with your merchant at a large discount and transfer them to your other characters. Continue to pick up every piece of loot that any of your characters find, as Overcharging it can bring considerable profits.
