How to Get to Hell playing Minecraft

"Minecraft" is the best-selling exploration and construction game developed by Mojang AB. Players build houses, battle monsters and dig deep into the earth for iron, diamonds, and other precious materials. You can construct a portal to The Nether, an alternate dimension filled with lava, new types of building material and exotic monsters. In previous versions of the game, The Nether was known as Hell due to its fiery appearance and constant danger.

Instructions

    • 1

Dig into the ground until you reach flowing lava.

    • 2

Construct a bucket using three iron ingots arranged in a "v" shape in the workbench.

    • 3

Equip the bucket and gather water from a natural source such as a pond, river or the ocean.

    • 4

Pour flowing water into the lava chamber. When the flowing water and flowing lava intersect, Obsidian is formed.

    • 5

Equip a Diamond Pickaxe and mine the Obsidian. You will need to gather 14 Obsidian blocks.

    • 6

Return to the surface and arrange the Obsidian blocks in a rectangular shape, four blocks wide by five blocks tall.

    • 7

Create a Flint and Steel using one iron ingot and one flint.

    • 8

Light the Obsidian structure on fire using the Flint and Steel to open the portal to The Nether.
